Door Knocker

A door knocker in Madeira, Canaries. I was surprised to see the style of the head, but then again I'd seen a similar one a few days earlier in La Palma. I often get drawn to photographing doors, doorways - something symbolic I suppose about doorways, the portals between the outer and the inner worlds.
