lucky for some

Cracking day today despite the greyness. Simon (offspring no 2) and I walked the puppies along Bexhill promenade before an American breakfast in the sea front cafe. Back home to drop off the puppies and collect Alice and Chris for our first round of Christmas. Simon will be away over Christmas and New Year visiting friends :( He gave his gifts to the kids, personally designed tshirts saying "RAWR means I love you in dinosaur" for Alice and "Keep Calm and wear Odd Socks" for Chris. Perfect choice.

After a pizza I struggled to eat it after the breakfast we went to Vikki's. He played safe and gave them money for Christmas. I can't remember the last time my kids and their kids were together. Proud Mum and Nan today :)

Appalling traffic on the way home so a walk in the dark for the poor puppies who had been abandoned all afternoon! Chris came too. We saw plenty of Christmas lights, some tasteful and some not so concerned about their electric bill. We decided against dinner.
