Friday candles

Another Friday night mantelpiece shot but this week the candles were not a necessity but part of a relaxing Friday night after four out of five lessons taught; being a repository for lots of people whinging about students; mopping up tears for two students I have never seen cry before and finally escaping only to sit in a queue of traffic on a bit of dual carriageway for no apparent reason.

A trip into town planned for early tomorrow morning and then some present wrapping and Christmas card writing and posting. I think the candle and a bit of Kate Rusby might be in order. If I focus on Christmas I might manage to forget that there's another whole week at work to go yet.
