Learning day by day

She's behind you...

Wow, what a busy day. Church first thing, where they sat cuddling each other and looking like butter wouldn't melt for most of the service. The to Angel's reply for a 4th Birthday party which Carys gate crashed with permission. After refereeing my two through out the party we headed out in the rain that had appeared, to Whipsnade Zoo as we were booked to see Santa. We did a hour in the soft play there, then raced round the tigers, Elephants, otters and giraffes, seeing the Elephants out on their daily walk on the way, before heading to see Santa. Now last year it was lovely, with a lovely chatty Santa and what seemed like lots of time with him. This year they have tried to make a winter wonderland (and to be honest the local garden centre is better) and the man himself misheard Carys and called her Harris through out! Mind I don't think she noticed, but I did cringe when he called William 'Harris' at the end! Anyhow, the kids were happy and the pressies were good so all's well that ends well!

We drove home spotting Christmas trees. They hadn't seen ours since I put it up last night, but spotted it through the window and were really excited. Once the muddy outer layer was stripped off they raced through to see it in the living room, but were both totally side tracked by the crib!

W went to bed well, Carys has been messing around. It doesn't bode well as she has three late nights next week due to the school play!
