End Of The Day

The kids slept well last night.
Which was good.

However, The Cygnet was being a cantankerous wee shi.......

We headed off to swimming and found the place with time to spare.
I got squirrel ready and went through to the pool only to be told that we were at the wrong pool.
There are 2 schools in one building and both of them have a swimming pool.
We had followed the others into the wrong building.
The door connecting them was locked so we had to brace ourselves and make a break for it outside.

The squirrel was being lazy and not doing a lot of work during her lesson.
But she was better than The Cygnet - 10 minutes was enough for him today.
Unwell or not he was pushing his luck!
Just as well we handed them back after lunch!!!!!

SWMBO and I nipped round to friends to drop of a birthday present and have a cup of tea.
Nearly 7 hours later we got home after helping with putting together photobooks, having a chinwag with his recently widowed mother and eating a meal.
This is becoming a habit.
