TIME TO RELOAD THE SUET

This red-bellied woodpecker was enjoying the very last of this suet block. Today was our family’s Christmas celebration. It was wonderful to have the family all together for the weekend - given the distance and various schedules, that doesn’t happen often enough. Not much time to devote to blipping, but I had a chance to capture a few birds.

Thank you for all the lovely comments about my mother. She doesn’t look or act like someone in her 90s, let alone 105. She is often asked her secret to living so long, but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious answer.
