stoic dancers

Sienna had a brief dance performance that she was part of for the Christmas on the Green in our local village. It was a beautiful little dance involving flashing lights and sparkly tutus - it was not designed however for torrential rain and gale force winds - which is what they got! Still they all trooped out there, smiling through the rain and dancing through the mud while we held the gazebos to stop them flying off in the gusts of wind. There was Santa of course and copious amounts of mulled wine and stollen and all sorts of treats - just the weather was against us.

I have to say Christmas in the summer, like I grew up with - sure makes planning outdoor Christmas events easier - just saying!
