Thank you for you kind comments and stars for Jan's photo and story yesterday - it's all very much appreciated.

Apologies for the shocking quality of today's photo. "The weather outside was frightful..." and yet there were these kind coffee sellers keeping a light on in the darkness, providing sustenance and good cheer.

Christmas came a little bit early. The Filmhouse had a special event for members - a reception of hot toddies (yum!) and toasty mince pies followed by a screening of Cinema Paradiso. What a gift! Thank you, lovely Filmhouse.
