It was a rainy, drizzly, misty day in southern Vermont, but that didn't stop us from enjoy coffee and the morning paper at Mocha Joe's in Brattleboro, getting utterly lost in Sam's Outfitters, and sampling every variety of cheddar at Grafton Village cheeses.

The foliage is turning, and will probably peak in Vermont in about two weeks. Even in the rain and mist, the scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed our drive home. This is the West Dummerston covered bridge -- one of Vermont's historical treasures.
