Don't they know it's Christmas?

Do they never rest, once they get a good head of steam up?
We bought it about here, mainly because, not only do we like streptocapus, but this one kinda tickled the collective fancy.
After it flowered I split it and it/they was/were off again.
Then it really got the bit between it's teeth.
I was intending to do another split, but I'm loath to disturb it/them while they're shoeing off their finery on the kitchen window cill.
