Jazz

At church by 9.30 for the end-of-term school service. As well as the usual nativity type stuff there was also a presentation by the pupils who'd been learning the violin followed by the first performance of the fledgling brass section. All rather accomplished in reality, but in my mind I was expecting them to hit all sorts of crazy notes and veer off wildly into something approaching free jazz territory.

Did someone just mention jazz? Peace on earth.
