Snow on them there hills

The days are so short at the moment that I always seems to be grabbing blips as the light begins to fade - but it does make for some drama.

Returning home after a lunch with colleagues, this was the cold and windy vista across Bantry Bay to the Beara. A dusting of snow on the high ground and the sea still fierce from last night's wind. Worse is forecast over the next two days but it looks as if Cork airport may escape some of it - so our Christmas arrivals from UK may be spared bumpy landings.
