Same again

The weather has been pretty shite today - that's the only word I can think of to describe it. Fearsome wind and torrential rain. There are trees and branches down everywhere, rivers and streams are in spate (see Herself's blip HERE) and the high tide is crashing waves over the coast road. I Just managed to get out quickly in a brief lull.

This is just about the same spot as yesterday. I was asked if I was standing in the sea, no, safely on the road that runs along the coast here, but today I was in 4 inches of water flooding across from the landward side and spray from breaking waves!
