A trip to the cafe

Today started off sunny so after breakfast and a bit of a play with Nappy's ever growing assortment of toys we set off for a stroll around Syon Park. We were home in time for lunch and then after a nap (for both Nappy and SnowGooseBlues) we set off to the cafe for a treat. They make their own ice cream and are forever trying new flavours - eg today there was gingerbread ice cream, mulled wine sorbet and for the more adventurous, chocolate and salt and vinegar crisp flavour ice cream! I settled for a warm chocolate brownie with peanut butter and Nutella ice cream which was delicious! Nappy had already had her afternoon rations but managed to have a bit of her mum's gingerbread and the froth off the delicious hot chocolate. Then it was time to go home for tea and a bath before bed. Nappy's latest game is to try to splash as much of the water as possible out the bath. She's truly excellent at it which means Daddy got a good wash at the same time :-)
