St Paul's at Tai Tapu

This lovely little Arts and Craft style church was built between 1930 and 1932. It's design is similar in style to the Tai Tapu library just behind the church, another fine heritage building that luckily has survived the earthquakes over recent years.

The church borders the Halswell river as it makes its way through the township. Now that the bridge is open (more earthquake strengthening) the character has returned to this sleepy little Anglican outpost.
