Skipper's gift

So Skipper the elf worked his magic and turned the seeds the children had planted into candy canes. Chickpea said "Wow!" when she saw them and wanted to try one straight away. Before breakfast? Go on, then, it's almost Christmas, right? Anyway, I guess it would help if either of the children actually liked candy canes. They both had a few licks and then relegated the rest of them as tree decorations. That's sort of the way it is with candy canes, though, isn't it? Does anybody really like them?

Skipper also left another "Elf Yourself" dancing video- this time it was Grandpa Mike dancing with the kids to some country music. They had boots and everything! I don't know where they all got there groovy moves from!

Slow, lazy day recovering for me. I need to beat this lurgy before Christmas comes!
