ENJOYING THE LEFTOVERS

My squirrel ‘for Squirrel Blip Friday’: Junior is enjoying the spill-over from the bird feeder. The ground-feeding birds weren’t around today, so the squirrels were making good use of it.

The temps were a bit above freezing today for the first time in ages, but what did we get? – a constant drizzle of rain all day long. The roads were a sheet of ice this morning. It wasn’t safe to drive until the salt trucks came around and the temperature got a bit warmer. So obviously it was a gloomy, damp, dank, dark day and only the squirrels were out and about. At least he’s a little cutie, and this shot has a rare touch of green.
