Digging in for Christmas

Mr Mole's been digging,
Oh, what a busy mole!
His ceiling soil swells higher
As still deeper grows his hole.

Mr Mole, it's Christmas.
How warm your hole must be!
Are you digging deeper
To accommodate your tree?

But, no! -- anthropomorphosis
Is not a wise idea
(So I'll whisper): "Merry Christmas,
Mole -- be filled with wormy cheer!"

Quick back-blip - taken yesterday but couldn't post it as my internet connection was dingle-dongling merrily on high elsewhere, so here it is belatedly!

Did you see Strictly last night? Wasn't it fantastic! Best final ever. Whoever had won I'd have been happy, the standard was so high. OK - I voted for Natalie, but was equally happy when Abbey won. Super stuff!
