Pigeon Roost

As the morning sun was catching the trees at the edge of the paddock behind our house, I noticed that the sidelighting was highlighting the pigeons roosting high in the trees. Normally I would not notice them or think them worthy of note but the attractive lighting on their breasts drew my eye and encouraged me to get out the telephoto lens. The chaotic patterns of the branches do not make for an easy image but it is worth seeing LARGE to see the detail of the pigeons.
