Snow falling

Called in to see what was going on in the Piece Hall, Halifax. The answer was - nothing. Most shops were closed and there were very few people about.
It then started to snow/hail/sleet which gave me an opportunity for a 'Christmassy' blip. That all soon turned to slush but it looked quite seasonal for a short while.

The Piece Hall is a unique Grade 1 Listed building of extraordinary significance. It is one of only two fully intact cloth halls in Europe, and the only one in Britain.
Built in 1779 for the trading of locally made, hand-woven “pieces” of woollen cloth, is a supreme example of pre-industrial Georgian architecture.
It has had a very mixed history over the years and currently is home to a range of specialist shops and is used as a venue for a wide range of events.
Over the next three years it is due to have £19 million spent on it for repairs and restoration. More information can be found here
I hope it doesn't get spoilt !
