Rubbish view

The great thing about NZ is that there is a real culture of looking after the place, obviously littering is illegal but people take responsibility for their litter like nowhere else! I took this on a Friday evening after most people had left the beach, there's nowhere near enough bins to cope with demand but people make sure they try to fit it in or leave it neatly beside a bin. I have seen a system where you have to take your rubbish away with you and no bins are provided, I couldn't believe it worked. People here have an amazing respect for the country and it's beauty, another reason I feel privileged to live here.
