I love the way wood turns silvery as it ages. This is one of the old boats at the end of the village, blipped many times before . . .

Mike was off dispatching geese for our elderly neighbour this morning. 'Tis the season for that sort of a thing . . . He doesn't enjoy doing it, but he's the only chap around here who can do it efficiently!
