Binful of Brollies

Imminent as Christmas may be, the defining thing about today was the weather. At lunchtime it was raining persistently and blowing a gale but that didn't deter hoards of former umbrella owners hitting the street. This wasn't the first brolly graveyard I passed, it was the second or third not counting ad-hoc ones that hadn't made it to a receptacle. People of Birmingham, get yourselves a good coat and a wooly hat. It's much safer and cheaper.
