Norwegian wood

Wet in town and ice melting. This meant that as I slipped on the walk to the bus station I slid down the hill in the road and soaked my gloves and trousers, as well as bashing my knees. The bus driver in Lillehammer advised not to go on his bus to Nordseter as it was blowing and raining. Along with another English guy we went for it. He headed off to the lakes and we took the alternative trail back - as yest we got the unpisted one. Today's being pisted yest and now filled in. We found the direct route from the stadium and overtook a Norwegian family who asked how far it was down. They had skis on at that point and we were walking. We explained where the path came out and the slippy experience we had the night before. Round the next corner we put skis on , glancing back as we took off the Norwegians had removed theirs. Had to borrow a heater in the hotel this evening to dry our clothes. Xmas buffet was good, especially the outfits some Norwegian guests were wearing - local clothes. Now getting ported watching potter.
