In the flat field

the sky's gone out.

Big melt, not all ice gone though. Skied through a very wet lake edge and found the route home I looked for on Monday. Walked the last bit as it is steep. Realised that taking a photo of the trail map on a post was a good idea. Whilst searching online found bill Wilson's site on this area - the link to Scottish Xc was the giveaway. I knew he was into Norway as he was part of a race here that I took part in (in boats) and then the Scottish flotilla toured together. I've also visited his new bar - the pine marten alongside loch morlich - well worth a visit, local beer and stories plus Norway pics ,and he'll let you camp in his garden if you get incapable.

Not rancid had a Norwegian version of lasagne this evening - no pasta!
