Cactus flower for Christmas

A busy day today, taking my mother out for the day, and then dinner with friends. I liked the light on the petals of these flowers, taken in the morning before we went out, when there was a little sunshine coming into the conservatory..

We were really lucky with the weather, as it was overcast but warm while we were out at Akaroa and didn't start raining again until we were back home.
