yesterday me, today carpetbiter2. not very well planned on our part. it feels like a 48 hour xmas unwrapping frenzy but with only two of us getting presents.

his first appearance was at 4.30am. second appearance at 5.30am. i was confused and thought it was 6.30am so got a rude shock when i realised that cbeebies hadnt started. it was that early. plonked him in front of the tv until he couldnt contain himself any longer at 7am and demanded presents.

a mass of presents, a pal arriving to get taken to the party, off to the football party which was enjoyed hugely by the birthday boy and about half of his guests but the refusniks didnt cause much trouble and birthday boy didnt seem to notice. back home for a very good natured afternoon playing with the new toys and taking carpetbiter1 to woolies to spend her pocket money as compensation for all the new stuff lying around the house. bbq and exhausted family went to bed.
