caught up. finally. have not been very focused on blip recently. too much going on. june always feels like a frenzied month when everything has to be squeezed in to the month-long summer before everyone disappears on holiday.

this is my smug bag. i need to find some of the tasteful fabric that lonely little petunia uses to disguise the smugness of it.

rushed about - to school, to after school club to sign up for next year (depressing thought), to work, to a training course, to grab a quick lunch which incorporated my work birthday cake and sing along happy birthday before i dashed back to the course. felt like the day spat me out of the building at just before 5 for my first taste of the lovely warm air.

dashed to station, dashed to school to find carpetbiter2 rubbing warm dirt into his shirt - i had always thought the grubbiness was incidental not deliberate. i think he over-ratea my washing skills.

slowed down in the garden with more bbq and various neighbourhood kids frolicking about and showing off their latest mini beast finds. i am running a campaign to release H's beetle from its jar. i'm not sure he agrees with me.
