Boxing Day: Cove

Today began slowly, it was a bit of an effort to get up, roll ourselves downstairs and eat another meal! By chance our neighbour Liz was having Christmas in Dunbar and came round for a cup of coffee this morning. We had a walk to the Cove we visited a few days ago (all days are a blur!) and showed Mum, Sarah and Wendell the tunnel through the rocks which Andy and I discovered last time. It was a gloriously cold and frosty day, perfect for being outside.

We came home to a perfectly cooked Boxing Day ham, which felt like Christmas Dinner #2. Just after we'd finished my sister's in-laws arrived for the afternoon. Another walk and then yet more food.

Now we've got the tough job of drinking the ends of all the bottles before we leave tomorrow morning. Some how we've taken to drinking and gambling. (Wendell got a Roulette set for Christmas, not to be mistaken with a Raclette set). The top prize is a box of biscotti. I've got everything on lucky number 7...

....and I'm out.
