Beachcombing

A stroll down the beach with a good bit of beachcombing going on. I think Daughter A has enough driftwood to make a house for the three little pigs. Of course it all had to come home, it is the creative streak in her - anyway we had a great couple of hours just wandering while the waves roared and pounded onto the beach. It was quite rough no chance of seeing Christchurch or Banks Peninsula.

Daughter A lost her jandal to the sea but it came back, then dropped her phone but it was alright. We saw two dead birds, an oyster catcher and black-backed gull which was a little sad. Daughter E collected smaller twigs and took a couple of shots with my camera - its all about the simple things in life for us this festive season.

Great times followed by good food for lunch at home as the rain began to fall.

What day is it........Friday, I think - Happy Friday blippers :)
