Roll Over

Usually we don't see the fog roll in. It creeps stealthy as spider in the dark of night and in the morning the bleary-eye dawn rolls over for a few more minutes of sleep and then starts the day working in a half-assed sort of way until noon when the fog finally burns off and it finally can get started with some real work.

This evening the fog rolled in to spend the night causing its mischief. No waiting until the end of day. By getting in early the night will be a bit colder and the fog will leave evidence of its passing in frost on windshields and plants, if the ground is cold enough then the roads will be slick and those who don't practice caution will risk a bit of slipping and sliding. So be cautious in your travels if the fog rolls in early. While the dawn might get to sleep in, it might profit you to roll out of bed early and take your time in your travels.
