Winter dusk

It was nearly dark by the time our family gathered all their belongings from around the house, got packed up and set off home. The three boys packed into the back of the car, but these days they don't quarrel, they just switch on their phones or tablets and are absorbed for the journey, just over an hour.
We've had a good couple of days of their company. The boys needed calming down this morning so at their suggestion I played Mah-jong with them while their parents went out in the car to escape for a bit, and Normous cooked the lunch.
We'll be seeing them again before long, for George's birthday.
