Channel Assault

I spent a really enjoyable couple of hours at Portishead this afternoon watching a barrage of heavy rain showers meander up the Severn Valley with Wales feeling the benefit of most of them. This one has just passed the emerging Second Severn Crossing, which officially marks the boundary between the Bristol Channel and the River Severn. To the right is the port and surrounding industry at Avonmouth.
