Saturday

Just a blip of the beautiful fall bouquet that is currently poised on our entry table. I didn't intend to be quite so artistic, but ended up liking how I caught A & E's portraits in the background.

We've had a nice Saturday, Ben golfing and the kids and I at home playing and cooking. It was a morning of soups - chicken noodle in the crockpot for lunch today, and tom kha gai simmering on the stove in preparation for dinner with friends tomorrow. A went to twin classmates' 7th birthday party, and came home bubbling over with excitement and stories, a purple balloon, and a prize for guessing the closest number to the quantity of pinto beans in a jar.
