Rock again!

Finally had a moment to breathe today, but just so I could muster up some strength to go to our college friends' party.

My friend has an amazingly child-friendly set up in the basement where the kids can play (almost) unsupervised on their own. That has enabled some relatively uninterrupted adult conversation.

Way back when we were still in school, seeing each other daily and even on weekends was the norm. As we graduated and embarked on our own separate journeys in pursuit of our love and dreams, our gatherings have gotten more and more sparse. Come child-rearing age when everyone barely had their heads above water, a whole year would've gone by before we'd clue in we haven't seen each other as a group.

I don't know if we'll get busier still, but hopefully in another year or less, we'll get together again (with new members!) and pick up where we left off.
