Looking Up

Spent most of today at the the sales in Livingston. S did a bit better than me but at least I got one thing I was looking for, new work shoes. Yippee, there's just no end to the shopping excitement!
Nipped into town with Jack tonight after a 10-pin practice and it was pretty busy after the torchlight parade. They were pretty lucky the wind and rain held off; maybe we'll get unbelievably lucky and the same will happen tomorrow. It's always a shame when the big Hogmanay bash gets blown away. Think we'll be giving the street party a miss (again) though, even if it's positively tropical.
