Jumping!

What a great start to the year! Kaz and the kids were in the pool at 7.30 this morning (my ear is still really sore so I'm not getting it wet) having a great time! We went down to Kings Beach at 9.30 and met Fleur and her family there for a play in the sand and a swim and stayed and had fish n chips for lunch! It was such a beautiful day!

We came home, Joti fell asleep in the car then transferred to the cot, I had a rest and Kaz took spence to the movies to see Frozen! They came back at about and Joti had only just woken up then they had another swim then we walked around the corner to our friend Tanya's house for a play! Tanya moved up from Victoria about a year ago and bought a two storey house similar to the one we are looking at to buy. I wanted Kaz to see Tanya's house to see what it looks like with a pool in the yard. It was good talking to Tanya about the houses we are looking at because they went through it a year ago! It made us confirm that we like two storey house so we just want to look through it again and then hopefully put an offer on it!

We have also started a 'Gratitude Jar' for this year. We each put in a piece of paper that we had written something that happened today that we were grateful for or we loved! We are trying to teach Spence to be grateful for things he has instead of whinging about stuff he doesn't have. It will also be great for Kaz and I to look back on all the awesome things we get to do! We will empty it at the end of each week or so and read back through them because a year is a long time for a kid to wait! Hopefully it gets the message across!
