On new year's day...

We woke this morning to see unexpected bright, clear skies, and I spotted a guided walk in the paper, so after watching the lovely New Year's concert from Vienna, we set off, armed with cameras.

The walk wasn't very long, just over an hour, but it started late afternoon and towards the end it was already getting dark. Once home, we had some mugs of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream.

Bright sunshine is promised tomorrow, so it looks like we'll be able to go for another winter walk, hurrah!
