It looks innocent but ...

This bread almost ruined my Kenwood. I followed the recipe which said "add the pre-ferment in chunks". The gloopy mixture got up into the workings of the machine and there was no way I could clean it without it being dismantled. Mr EF came to the rescue - I owe him big time.

Rustic Bread from the Jeffrey Hamelman recipe - it tastes very good!
