What a finale - torchlight procession

All these years and I had never taken part in the torchlight procession before! It was a wonderful experience walking with 7,500 other people down the mound, along Princes Street and up Calton Hill. There we experienced a light show, fireworks directly overhead culminating in the lighting of the 2014

I was invited to meet the bloggers who had come to Edinburgh from all over the world to take part in Blogmannay. I think we may just have made them fall in love with Scotland!
