Umadoshi, the Year of the Horse

Every Japanese person knows what year of the zodiac they were born in and are likely to ask what your zodiac sign is, in this way, they can guess a person's age without asking it directly.

2014 is the year of the wooden horse and is predicted to be a thrilling year. - hurrah! The Japanese believe that people who are born in the same animal year share similar personality and character. For example, people born in the year of the horse are skilful with money and quick thinkers (as a horse myself this may come as a surprise to my bank manager and possibly one or two others!) People born in the Year of the Horse are also clever, kind, animated and energetic… that sounds much, much better ;) What sign are you Blippers?
