Better than Costa...

This morning I drove through to Glasgow for the funeral of my friend Stevie Butler. I then drove back, the weather getting windier and wetter by the minute.

I thought about stopping on the way for a coffee, but decided, I think wisely, to wait until I reached home before making myself a nice strong coffee with a couple of remaining fancy biscuits from New Year.

The coffee and biscuits tasted so much better in the warmth of my home listening to the wind and rain outside. Hopefully, people are keeping themselves safe in coastal areas today.

Think I might make myself another coffee...
