Marbury Country Park

The day dawned bright and sunny, though cold, with a very hard frost. Janet and John were fixing us all a cooked breakfast late morning, so Laura and I went for a walk around the neighbourhood before breakfast, taking it carefully as it was still icy in places. We enjoyed a great afternoon walk at Marbury Country Park with Janet and John and Roger's Dad, walking off the cooked breakfast! The light was beautiful, and there were beautiful cloud formations and reflections in the water. It's often a good place for bird watching and today was no exception, with quite a number of tufted ducks and grebes, as well as the usual mallards, swans and coots.
