Ferocious Friday

It was pleasant in the morning, windy and cold, but pleasant
Then the rain came and the wind picked up, not a day for anything much
Radio 4, twitter, kindle and pots of green tea.
The moon made a cameo appearance in my sky, alas my shot of it didn't come out clearly, it was chucking it down at the time

I thought that was it as far as astral delights went today.
The wind has died down a little and the sky has cleared. My winter pals are on display.
And maybe, just maybe *whispers* I might see some quadrantid meteors after all
