Forth Rail Bridge

Over in the east, visiting a new family "Palace" in Linlithgow, and then on to Edinburgh.

Ch's first visit to The Bridges. Blowing a gale, as I held the camera tightly against the railings. A possible storm surge forecast here at 16.00 tomorrow. I chose this shot, as it shows a train on the right, just emerging out of the cantilever section. Years ago, I went on a site visit onto the bridge. We walked along the side of the track, up to the first tower, and up to the top of it. Very exciting.

I think this may be the first time I've seen the Rail Bridge lit at night. And it makes another entry for my occasional series "Beside the Railway".
