Harold the Heron

Harold stands guard over my fish pond. He was brought in to deter the REAL heron who has been dining on my goldfish. Herons are solitary feeders and supposedly they will not approach a pond if they see another heron there. However, just a few days after I employed Harold, I looked out to see the hungry heron standing on the side of my pond, taking no notice of Harold. I continue to try and figure out how to protect my fish!

It was a dark and rainy day today. I hope towards summer I can provide a more colourful view of my outside space!
