Life As You Recount It

Everyday Should Be Like Sunday

In addition to my father's roast dinner, the one thing I have enjoyed about my Sundays over the past two months is getting a few of the newspapers to read. When I'm at home in Philadelphia, I don't bother with the Inquirer and there isn't a shop near me that sells the New York Times. Not only is the coverage in the UK Sunday papers wide-ranging, but their supplements are amazing. I'm also reminded of what my mother used to do every Sunday. For her, "church" was reading the Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post and spending the day watching all the British shows she loved so much. (That's my father's dog Disney peering up at me.)
