Life in a Northern Town

Lizzie is 42 today in doggie years.

Perhaps she knows the meaning of life? If the meaning of life is hauling ourself out of your bed at 10am, going for a run around the park, coming home to a pig's ear and a bacon sandwich before stretching out for the afternoon on one of your 4 soft and comfortable beds before a tea of sardines, then she has it sussed.

Shame it was spoilt by having to pose with a stupid hat on.

Lizzie's paternal grandfather was Brett Lee (not the actual Brett Lee but his canine namesake), one of the most famous and celebrated Australian greyhounds, who set a world speed record. Here he is with the other, much slower, Brett Lee.

Back to work tomorrow. Ughh.
