Keeping Up Appearances!!.....

...........this is MY Hyacinth - a Christmas present - and not the other one - (I will explain to non-Uk folk lower down in my narrative!) - it has come out beautifully and the perfume fills the room - this one doesn't smell as sickly as some I've had before.

*******Keeping Up Appearances is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke for the BBC. Centred on the life of eccentric, social-climbing snob Hyacinth Bucket (who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet"), the sitcom follows a determined and obsessively snobbish woman who desperately and continually looks for opportunities to climb the social ladder by attempting to impress people (particularly rich people) and portray herself as more affluent than she truly is, despite being wedged between a working class background and upper class aspirations. The situations into which she gets really are hilarious and her poor Husband and near neighbours suffer the worst of her efforts!
