Floods..

...and I can't see it receding any time soon with more of the wet stuff on it's way tonight. We actually had about 2 hours where it didn't rain today.. *jumps a centimetre off the floor with almost glee*

Nearly had a fire today.. One of the logs stacked beside the log burner must have slipped and was touching the side of the burner. I don't know how long it had been like that but smoke started coming up and it was glowing! Any longer unnoticed (if we'd been in the kitchen) and it could have ignited others.. Doesn't bear thinking about!! I went to buy a log basket today!! We're not going to stack them beside it anymore! :-/
